Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park HQ / Timpohon Gate / Ascend Mount Kinabalu/ Panalaban Base Camp 06:00 Hrs - 07:00 Hrs: We will pick you up at your hotel for a 2-hour drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarters. 09:00 Hrs: At Kinabalu Park Headquarters, our guide will take care of all the paperwork, assign you a mountain guide, and provide you with a packed lunch for the day. You will also receive an ID tag, which you must wear throughout the climb. After registration, you are taken to the starting point of your climb, Timpohon Gate. This is where your adventure to reach the top of Borneo's highest mountain begins! The climb takes about 4-5 hours and goes through different types of forests and landscapes, from trees like oak and chestnut to areas with moss and plants that live in high mountains. By late afternoon, you will arrive at Panalaban Base Camp, which is 3,272 meters above sea level. After checking in to your accommodation, you will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant before getting settled in for the night. Lunch / Dinner Laban Rata Private Room
Low's Peak/ Descend Mount Kinabalu/ Kota Kinabalu 02:00 Hrs: Wake up for an early supper before starting the final climb to the top of Mount Kinabalu. The climb to Low's Peak (4,095 above sea level) is tough and will test your strength and willpower. If the weather is good, you might see a beautiful sunrise over the mountain! 07:00 Hrs: Head back down to Panalaban Base Camp for a late breakfast and check out of the accommodation. Descend back down to Timpohon Gate for the transfer to Kinabalu Park Headquarters. The estimated arrival time is between 13:00 Hrs - 15:00 Hrs. Congratulations, you climbed Mount Kinabalu! Celebrate your accomplishment and get the Certificate of Achievement. Enjoy the delicious buffet lunch at Liwagu Restaurant before the scenic 2-hour drive back to Kota Kinabalu. Guide and Assistance: A friendly guide will meet you either at your hotel lobby or at the airport with a placard. If you have trouble locating the guide, call the hotline number listed in your itinerary for help.
Flight Recommendation: It is not recommended to book a flight on the same day as your mountain descent, due to potential delays caused by injuries, fatigue, weather, or traffic conditions.
2-Day 1-Night Package:
Pick-Up Time: Transport will be arranged for pick-up from your hotel between 06:00 - 07:00. You will be advised of your pick-up time the day before departure. Request an early or packed breakfast from your hotel.
2-Day 1-Night with Ferrata: For this package, pick-up will be between 06:00 - 06:45, with the same advice regarding breakfast. 3-Day 2-Nights Package & Beyond: Transport will pick you up from either the airport, your hotel, or Grandis Hotel between 12:30 - 14:00. If you arrive after 14:00, an additional surcharge will apply based on your group size. Consult your salesperson for details.
Outskirt Hotel Pick-Up: A charge of MYR 80 per person applies for pick-ups from hotels in the outskirts, including One Borneo, Putatan, and hotels within a 20km radius of Kota Kinabalu city center.
Seat-In-Coach Transport: All transport is shared (Seat-In-Coach), meaning you will share the vehicle with other clients. There will be multiple pick-ups and drop-offs, so expect some waiting time.
Transport After Descent: After descending from Mount Kinabalu, climbers will be picked up at a pre-determined time. The last transport will return to Kota Kinabalu by 19:30. If you miss the last transport or wish to depart at a different time, a private transfer can be arranged, subject to availability. A surcharge will apply for private transfers.
Private Transfer Surcharge: MYR 450 per vehicle, one-way.
Group Transfers: The group rates include one return transfer for your group. If more than one return transfer is needed, additional charges may apply.
Child Seats: Baby car seats (for infants aged 0-2) and child booster seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rent. Please check availability with your sales consultant.

The room heater and shower water heater are currently undergoing maintenance and will be temporarily unavailable until further notice.
Climbers who reach Timpohon Gate after 16:30 hrs will be imposed a fee of MYR 15 per hour per guide and need to pay directly to mountain guide on the spot.
Tipping is like giving a hug. Although it’s never expected, it’s always very much appreciated.
Do take note that your passport will be required for verification during registration at the Kinabalu Park office. Please bring it along with you.
Check-out time for Laban Rata Resthouse is 10:00 Hrs. Should you check out later than 10:30 Hrs, a Late Check Out Fee of MYR100/hour applies, to be paid directly on the spot.
Effective as of 1st September 2017, the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia will be implementing a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX).
Foreign tourists will be required to pay a flat rate of MYR 10 per room per night regardless of accommodation star level. The TTx is to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempted from TTx and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in for the exemption.
It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
Children below 15 years old must fill in the indemnity form upon registration at Park Headquarters.
